DESCRIPTION

Our Anti-hypertensive Project Team is led by Dr. Mrs. Olga Quasie, with Dr. Kofi Donkor and Dr. Maxwell Sakyiamah as key team members. Hypertension is currently the leading cause of mortality in Ghana, making the search for novel anti-hypertensive agents a critical focus of research at the Centre. Our team has screened numerous medicinal plants for their anti-hypertensive properties, yielding very promising results.
