ANTI-MALARIA

DESCRIPTION

Our Anti-malaria Project Team is led by Mr. Steven Antwi and has Dr. Maxwell Sakyiamah and Dr. Doris Kumadoh as other core team members. Malaria is the leading cause of mortality in children under six in sub-Saharan Africa. Indeed it represents the major economic cost in most endemic countries. Thus the search for novel anti-malaria agents is a prominent global scientific engagement. Our Team has screened a good number of medicinal plants for their anti-malaria activities with very interesting results.
