On the 11th of March 2022, a significant visit occurred at the Centre for Plant Medicine Research (CPMR) in Mampong-Akwapim, located in the Eastern Region of Ghana. A three-member delegation representing the European Union Mission (EUM) in Ghana and the European Investment Bank (EIB) made their way to the Centre, demonstrating the importance of international collaboration in advancing healthcare research and development.

The delegation comprised esteemed individuals: Madam Juliet Deku, Programme Manager (EUM); Madam Stefan Wunderlich, Diplomat Architect, Project Directorate; and Mr. Alessandra Badellino, Life Science Division, Project Directorate.
