Established in 1975, the Centre for Plant Medicine Research Library initially had a modest collection of books and was overseen by Mr. Benjamin Ohene Adjei from the Balme Library, University of Ghana. Initially located in a room near the Plant Development Department, the library was relocated to its current site in 2011. Under the guidance of Professor Laud K. N-A. Okine, it now accommodates up to 20 readers and holds approximately 1000 volumes.

LIBRARY SERVICES
The major responsibility of the Library which is regarded as the pivot around which the scientific research activities of the Centre revolves is to provide information resources, learning facilities and services to support the core business of the Centre, namely, research and learning.
