Management
The Management team plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and administration of the Centre for Plant Medicine Research. At the helm of this team is the Executive Director, who serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Centre. The Executive Director assumes overall responsibility for the strategic direction and efficient functioning of the Centre.
Assisting the Executive Director is the Deputy Executive Director, who holds the pivotal role of overseeing Research and Development (R&D) activities. This includes spearheading initiatives to advance scientific research, develop innovative herbal medicine products, and contribute to the body of knowledge in traditional medicine.
Additionally, the Management team includes the Administrative Secretary, who serves as the Director of Administration and acts as the Secretary to the Governing Board. In this capacity, the Administrative Secretary plays a key role in facilitating communication and coordination between the Management team and the Governing Board, ensuring smooth governance and decision-making processes.
Furthermore, the heads of various departments within the Centre are integral members of the Management team. They collaborate closely with the Executive Director and other members of Management to execute strategic objectives, oversee departmental operations, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Overall, the Management team plays a pivotal role in steering the Centre for Plant Medicine Research towards its mission of advancing herbal medicine research, promoting healthcare innovation, and contributing to the well-being of communities.
